Three Indians went to the State wrestling meet last year, and all return to the Indianola lineup this year. Nick Bonanno is expected to move from 145 pounds to 160 pounds. Ryder Downey will go from 106 pounds to 113 pounds. Brennan Meacham is expected to move from 170 pounds to 152 pounds this year.

Senior Brennan Meacham is one of three Indianola wrestlers who went to State last year and returns this year. Meacham took fifth at 170 pounds last year, and will wrestle at 152 pounds this year.


Sophomore Ryder Downey took seventh at 106 pounds in the Class 3A state wrestling tournament last year. He'll return to the Indianola lineup this season at the 113-pound slot.
