A 16-year-old male of Indianola was arrested in the 1100 of East Second Avenue on the charge of theft 5th-shoplifting.

Cynthia Sue Kempf, 63, of Indianola was cited and released in the 300 block of North Thirteenth Street on the charge of animal at large.

Vehicles driven by Cael Meacham, 17, of Indianola and Cassaundra Sinclair, 31, of Indianola collided in the 200 block of East Orchard Avenue. Estimated damages: $1,500 to Meacham’s vehicle; $3,000 to Sinclair’s vehicle. Meacham was cited for failure to maintain control.

Vehicles driven by Kaycee Butz, 41, of Camanche, Hallie Shipley, 17, of Mitchellville and Robert Wright, 22, of Columbus, Texas collided in the 2300 block of North Jefferson Way. Estimated damages: $1,500 to Butz’s vehicle; $2,500 to Shipley’s vehicle; $1,500 to Wright’s vehicle.

Ryan Dean Anderson, 21, of Des Moines was arrested in the 1000 block of West Second Avenue on the charge of driving while barred.

Jacob Charles Fairman, 25, of Des Moines was arrested in the 2000 block of West Second Avenue on a valid arrest warrant filed by the Department of Corrections for violation of probation on the original charge of prohibited acts of manufacturing, delivery, conspire, or possession with intent-methamphetamine.

James Ernest Miller, 70, of Urbandale was arrested in the 2000 block of West Second Avenue on the charges of OWI 1st, possessing or carrying weapons while intoxicated, theft 4th, and stopping, standing, or parking where prohibited.

A domestic assault was reported in the 1200 block of East Second Avenue.

Mary Buttrey of Indianola reported an incident of theft 5th from outside a motor vehicle in the 2000 block of West Fourth Avenue.

Cody Allan Johnson, 26, of Des Moines was arrested on a valid Warren County arrest warrant for sex offender registration violation 1st offense.

Sonja Watson of Indianola reported an incident of attempted burglary in the 300 block of South Third Street.

Jordan Allen Leonard, 26, of Des Moines was arrested in the 2100 block of West Fourth Avenue on a valid Madison County arrest warrant for failure to appear on the original charge of driving while barred.

Indianola Parks and Recreation of Indianola reported an incident of criminal mischief 5th in the 600 block of North G Street.

Frank Allan Manders, 33, of Indianola was arrested in the 100 block of East Salem Avenue on a valid arrest warrant filed by the Department of Corrections for violation of probation on the original charges of possession of a controlled substance - methamphetamine and owes court financial obligations.

Vehicles driven by Timothy Heckinger, 43, of Indianola, and Brandon Perry, 44, of Roswell, New Mexico, collided in the 500 block of North Jefferson Way. Estimated damages to Heckinger's vehicle: $800; to Perry's vehicle: $4,000. Heckinger was cited for failure to maintain control.

Vehicles driven by Brent Terrell, 64, and Frances Bentz, 87, both of Indianola collided in the 1000 block of North Buxton Street. Estimated damages: $1,500 to Terrell's vehicle; $3,000 to Bentz's vehicle.

Mahlon Edgington of Indianola reported an incident of criminal mischief 5th in the 2600 block of West Tenth Avenue.

Tyrone David Walker, 46, of Indianola was arrested in the 500 block of East Iowa Avenue on a valid Marshalltown arrest warrant for voluntary absence from custody.

An incident of criminal mischief 5th was reported in the 1500-block of North Jefferson Way.

Joseph Raymond Brue, 31, of Des Moines was arrested in the 700 block of North Third Street on a valid arrest warrant filed by the Department of Corrections for violation of probation on the original charges of eluding, and OWI 1st.

Charles Raymond Handy, 48, of Indianola was arrested in the 300 block of South B Street on two valid arrest warrants filed by the Department of Corrections for violation of probation on the original charges of possession of a controlled substance - methamphetamine 1st offense, and domestic assault 1st offense.

An unknown vehicle struck a vehicle driven by Michelle Teeslink, 64, of Indianola, in the 200 block of North Jefferson Way. Estimated damages to Teeslink's vehicle: $100.

Mary Leadley of Indianola reported an incident of fraudulent practice 1st in the 1200 block of South Third Street.

Patrick Laird Leeper, 71, of Des Moines, was cited and released in the 2300 block of North Jefferson Way on the charges of theft 5th-shoplifting.

An incident of criminal mischief 5th was reported in the 1900 block of West Second Avenue.

Amy Adix of Indianola reported an incident of criminal mischief 5th in the 1000 block of West Third Avenue.

A vehicle driven by Roy Jensen, 74, of Indianola, collided with a vehicle driven by Shelby Wiese, 18, of Indianola, and with a parked car owned by Krissa Cihaski, 31, of Knoxville. Estimated damages to Jensen's vehicle: $2,000; to Wiese's vehicle: $750; to Cihaski'svehicle: $750. Jensen was cited for failure to obey traffic device.
