As a recent resident of Indianola, I was very pleased, during the Covid quarantine, to vote so easily and safely. I don't understand or support the recent voting law passed by the Iowa legislature to (supposedly) make our elections more secure.

Ms. Corsair claims that Iowa's new election integrity laws will make it significantly harder to vote, but does not identify even one specific provision that she claims would do so.

She should be aware that changes in Iowa's voter law are designed to make it easy to vote and hard to cheat. Chief among those laws are the requirements for voter photo ID, which are supported by an overwhelming majority of Americans. The April 2021 Rasmussen poll showed, for example, that: “Majorities of all racial groups – 59% of whites, 56% of Blacks and 63% of other minority voters – say it is more important to make sure there is no cheating in elections than to make it easier to vote.  Likewise, majorities of all racial groups – 64% of whites, 59% of Blacks and 58% of other minority voters – reject the claim that voter ID laws discriminate against some voters.”

Outright lying is used to attack election integrity legislation. Former Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams falsely claimed that voter ID was "racist". She then lied through her teeth a second time and proclaimed that she had never been against voter ID. In an online speech Abrams celebrated New Jersey's new early voting law, but claimed that Georgia's early voting law, which provides nine more days of early voting than New Jersey, was "Jim Crow 2.0."

President Biden was given four Pinocchios by the Washington Post for stating that Georgia's new law meant that “you’re going to end voting at five o’clock when working people are just getting off work.” President Biden made a series of moronic claims about Georgia's new "Jim Crow laws" when his home state of Delaware, unlike Georgia and Iowa, has never permitted any early voting whatsoever.

The S1 bill ought to be called the "For the Fraud" act. It removes the administration of voting from the states, removes safeguards against fraud, such as voter ID, and inhibits the purging of dead, inactive, illegal and nonresident voters from the voter rolls.

As for the absurd proposition that there is no evidence of fraud, read Peter Navarro's reports on election fraud and examine the numerous statistical analyses of elections in the battleground states.

The Georgia Secretary of State (who said Georgia had "safe secure, honest elections") had received a contractor's report on November 13 showing a "massive chain of custody problem" in Fulton County as well as double counting of votes, insecure storage of ballots, the unexplained removal of election materials, the suspicious movement of "too many" ballots on election day and comments by an election worker that wanted to "f**K s**t up."

This week, the nonpartisan VoterGA organization found massive errors and provable fraud in the Fulton County Georgia audit of the November 3rd election. This included 3390 extra votes for Biden resulting from rerunning of 36 batches of votes. In addition, tally sheets were falsified so that a batch of votes showing 60 for Biden and 40 for Trump were recorded as 100 for Biden and 0 for Trump. This is one county in a state where Trump lost by 12000 votes.

The Georgia secretary of state is now threatening to take over the election operations of Fulton County.

In Arizona, the state senate is conducting a careful and secure forensic audit of the vote in Maricopa County. Former New York City police commissioner Bernie Kerik has written about the strict security and accuracy standards of that audit.

While the audit is not yet complete, it appears that there is a significant difference between the number of votes counted and the number of ballots. 72000 mail in ballots were received for which there is no record of them ever being sent out. Not only that, although we are supposed to believe that the Maricopa county election was secure and accurate, those conducting the election could not even properly count and package the ballots when turning them over for audit. For example, a package with a slip stating it contained 200 ballots would only contain 170 ballots. The final results will be interesting.

"Some 200 ballots in the 2020 presidential election initially were double-counted in Fulton County, where heavily Democratic Atlanta is located. But the double-count, once identified, didn’t change the official result of Biden defeating Trump in Georgia. There’s no evidence of thousands of double-counts."

Also, see my earlier post below about the mythical "70,000 non-recorded votes." It's a case of the Maricopa faux auditors not even knowing what they're looking at -- so say the actual GOP local election officials.

I would suggest that anyone thinking there was fraud in Iowa's elections or any other state for that matter produce evidence of such. My family in Arizona say the attempt to find fraud in their elections there are laughable. Anyone, that believes a company with no experience investigating elections should be hired to do such would come to any conclusion but the one they are paid to find, and accept those results, would be highly misled. Countless lawsuits in many states have shown there was no fraud of any magnitude. After taking part in an election audit by the State of one precinct here in the county, I can personally tell you the paper results were perfectly matching those on the computer print-outs. The same happened in Arizona when the REAL elected Republican officials did the recount, not some sham politically connected company paid to come up with a particular result.

Hi Mary! I just encourage you to watch this video from Arizona and the current investigation taking place on voter fraud.

We want a true and HONEST representative government.

Still not convinced?

Voting needs to be secure AND honest, the HR 1 would contribute to dishonesty, vote harvesting and fraudulent voting.

Yes! ALWAYS truthseeking! Amen! Mr. Anonymous Sgeiken!

AZ election officials have debunked the so-called 74,000 extra votes -- >

"There is no evidence of either fraud or any significant error with these ballots, and certainly not 'magically appearing ballots.' Both Maricopa County and outside experts say there is a simple explanation for the gap Logan claimed had not been explained: the existence of in-person early voting. Contrary to Logan's claims, the ballot lists he was talking about include not only mail-in ballots but also ballots cast early in person."
