Mallory Carlton was among the several fifth-grade students who dressed in pioneer garb for Pioneer Days at the Warren County Historical Society. Students visited the Carver Museum at the historical society's complex at the Warren County Fairgrounds.

Living during the pioneer times was all fun and games, decided students from Indianola’s Emerson Elementary last week.

They are taking so much of our history out of the schools I think this is a very beneficial lesson in how our country started. Thanks to the Warren Co. Historical Association and the 5th grade teachers!
