I can understand protesting the vicious murder of George Floyd. I don’t understand a protest against the use of the military in the states. The military, which includes the national guard, was needed to stop those who exploit civil unrest to burn, loot and murder. The national guard reduced violent crimes committed by rioters. In the past military police and other active duty units were used to end violence in the Rodney King riots. One of the best examples of the use of the military in the states was their deployment by President Eisenhower, in Little Rock, Arkansas to enforce the racial integration of the public schools.
