You have a slumber party with your kid every night, but what if you got to have one with other stuffed friends? What adventures would we have when the kids aren’t looking?
Find out at the Indianola Public Library’s Stuffed Animal Sleepover!
Ask your kid’s grown-ups to bring you all to the Library on Tuesday, April 4th, from 6:30 to 7:30 pm. There will be crafts and games for you and your kid’s family to enjoy together. We’ll have a bedtime snack and storytime. Then, you get your night-night kiss from your kid and all of us stuffies will be tucked in safely for the night. Sorry kids, this sleepover is for toys only.
“Night-night, kid! See you tomorrow! Oh, of course, I’ll go right to sleep!” <doors close, lights go out, humans are ALL GONE>... It’s time for stuffies to party!
What kinds of shenanigans and hijinx can we get up to, in the Library at night? Tell your kids not to worry; I’ll be here to guard and we’ll all be perfectly safe until they pick you up on Wednesday afternoon. (I’ll keep an especially close eye on the bunnies since everyone knows they’re daredevils.)
I’ll see you there!
Dorian, the IPL Storytime Bear
Note to grown-ups: the stuffed animal and the child will be parted overnight, so please don't leave a toy that will be missed excessively. We promise to take good care of every guest and to return them happy and in the condition in which they were left.
