Several Indianola residents and businesses were treated to an electrical outage when a pole snapped allowing electric lines to fall across Hwy. 65-59 and Willowcrest in front of the Shottenkirk Ford Tuesday. Traffic was diverted until the lines were removed.

Indianola Municipal Electric Utility crews, assisted by employees of The Hydaker-Wheatlake Company, will begin pulling transmission and distribution wires from the west side of Routes 65/69 to the east side of Routes 65/69 near the highway’s intersection with
