Lane Kruse became John F Kennedy at the Emerson Elementary fifth-grade wax museum. The event was organized by the fifth-grade teachers to connect students to history and teach them research, writing and public speaking skills. Students portrayed people who left their mark on history.

There was an Elvis sighting at Emerson Elementary on Friday. And he wasn’t alone.

I had the pleasure of attending this event. It was so great to see and hear all the carefully researched presentations. It was evident that the students and teachers were all invested in this project. Kudos to all involved!
