805 N. B St.

While officials have said proposed changes in the city's ordinances regarding bed and breakfasts and boardinghouses have nothing to do with the home at 805 North B St., residents say the address, which belongs to a former Simpson College sorority house, frequently crops up in the conversations.

Changes to an Indianola ordinance on bed and breakfasts and boardinghouses took another turn Tuesday at a meeting of the city’s planning and zoning commission.

This was a sorority house for years - probably when many current neighbors chose to live in the neighborhood. Why is a boarding house a problem now?
