Construction fencing surrounds the center of the Indianola Square, the previous and potentially future home of a Warren County Justice Center.

Warren County taxpayers will not see an increase in their taxes, even if a $3.5 million bond issue to pay for the Warren County Justice Center passes in November, promised Warren County Supervisor Aaron DeKock in an interview Wednesday.

George H. W. Bush once said "No new taxes" and THAT didn't work out so well for him, so please forgive me if I'm a bit skeptical regarding this statement by Mr. DeKock.

Maybe it’s some lingering cynicism, but I’m not convinced we will actually get what we approve.
