The Warren County Polar Plunge is a unique opportunity for individuals, organizations, and businesses to support Special Olympics Iowa athletes and Unified partners by raising at least $75 and taking a plunge in frigid waters.
This year 45 individuals are expected to take the Polar Plunge at Norwalk United Methodist Church.
Following the Polar Plunge is the post-party where the winners of the best costume and top fundraiser for individuals and teams are announced. Plungers and chickens, individuals who raise funds but do not plunge, will also receive their fundraising prizes during the party. Â
