SEW's Cade Nelson looks for a passing lane in a February game against Moravia. Nelson led the Warhawks with 15 points Friday as they defeated Moulton-Udell in the first game of the postseason.
The Warhawks took a commanding lead in the first quarter, going up 26-2, and then went into the locker room at the half up 40-12. The same trend continued in the second half, as they outscored the Eagles, 34-19, for the 74-31 victory.
Mason Merfield added 13 points and Austin Clendenen had 11.
The Warhawks, now 3-6, will meet Mount Ayr, 16-4, at Mount Ayr High School Monday.
