There were no community specific reports of positive COVID-19 tests in Warren County Tuesday, but the number of cases in the county climbed by three to 908 since the pandemic began, according to the Iowa Department of Public Health web site Tuesday.

The number of people tested in the county went up by 49 Tuesday, with 610 listed as recovered, up nine from Monday.

Indianola remains at 224 cases in the city limits since the pandemic began and 57 cases in the city’s fire district.

The Harvard Global Health Institute to put Warren in the orange phase of its rating of counties’ risk of contracting COVID. The county is averaging 8.1 positive cases per day over a rolling seven-day period as of Sunday, said the dashboard..

As of Sunday, the last day statistics were available, the dashboard has 30 Iowa counties in red and 50 in orange and 18 in yellow. One county is in green.
