The 50125 zip code, including Indianola, added another 32 cases of COVID-19 Wednesday, more than other zip codes in the county combined, according the Warren County Department of Public Health's zip code specific map on Wednesday.

The 50211 zip code, including Norwalk, added nine cases, moving to 1,234 cases since the pandemic began. The 50125 zip code has had a total of 1,646 cases since the pandemic began.

The 50047 zip code, including Carlisle, added five cases.

Another seven zip codes added one case each, including 50166/Hartford, 50139/Lacona, 50225/Pleasantville, 50320/Des Moines, 50210/New Virginia, 50240/St. Charles and 50061/Cumming.

According to the Iowa Department of Public Health, the county has had 4,232 cases of the virus, with 23,224 tests administered to Warren County residents. Another 3,402 people have recovered, according to the site.

The IDPH also announced that an additional 321 Warren County residents have been vaccinated against the virus for a total of 1,524 residents being vaccinated. The site reports that 109,868 doses of the vaccine have been given statewide.

The state web site will post the number of vaccines administered on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, according to a news release from the IDPH.

The county's positivity rate climbed to 18.5 percent on Wednesday.
