Marilyn Leek of Indianola marked 50 years at Simpson College this summer.

Carver tribute

This marble slab was originally in Carver Science Hall at Simpson College. Marilyn Leek helped find it a new home after it was removed during a remodel. It contains a tribute to George Washington Carver, an African American scientist who attended Simpson in 1890.
